In 2008, an American couple came to Kenya on a missionary expedition. Their mission was to provide family care to orphans and other vulnerable children, educate and promote Christianity and its values. In their decade-long stay in the country, the missionaries are accused of leaving the children traumatized as the relevant authorities failed to detect and act upon the blatant child rights abuses.
